EFFECTIVE MARKETING SOLUTIONS

Additional Promotion

Frequently those of us so focused on Internet Marketing and Advertising tend to forget some of the simpler no-cost / low-cost "off-line" promotion techniques that can add significantly to sales.

Take a few minutes and review the following list.

Join the NBS Banner Network! You banner can be displayed through out the web at the lowest prices ever! This is a must if you want to maximize your marketing campain. Join Now!

Include your URL / Email address in your on-hold message system or answering machine. If your company has different options, "Tech Support", "Sales" etc. think about giving the caller an option for the email address of the specific help desk they are looking for.

If your company has voice mail, have each employee list your web site URL and their email address in their response message.

Make sure all email correspondence has your web site's URL. Often, new workers don't realize how to create and use tools as simple as a signature line.

Make sure everyone in your organization knows your web site's address. It's surprising how many small and large companies fail to inform their employees how to direct customers to their web site. Try spot checks to confirm they know it.

How about your company literature? Do your letterheads, fax cover sheets, business cards, statements, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. have your URL/Email addresses on them? If not seriously think about adding them next time you order supplies. Certainly you have your phone number and postal address printed on these supplies. You should also consider adding your URL and email address as well.

Print your URL on all your products and product packaging. Even Pepsi took the time to change their product packaging to enable customers to find their URL on EACH of their soda cans. Try to imagine your product sitting on a retailer's shelf. The potential customer looking at it may want more information - make it easy for them to find your web site where they can access the rest of your product information.

Put your URL on your building and/or your signs. How many eyeballs pass your business everyday? Can you imagine how handy this would be for a real estate agent to have their URL on the sign that is in front of a house for sale?

Yellow page listings - Do you list your URL and Email address?

Company and Personal Vehicles - Every UPS truck we have seen lately has the company's URL on the side, does yours?

Promotional items like Coffee Mugs, T-shirts, Ball Caps, Mouse Pads and Pens all can have your URL printed on them.
